What is a design lab?
A+E is considered a design lab because of our unique approach to the design process. With a diverse background and formal design education, we evaluate options, work iteratively, and adjust based on feedback to achieve ideal results. Inspired by scientific methods, our step-by-step design process is the perfect compound of observation, analysis, planning, research, and insight to achieve interiors that have just the right amount of design chemistry.
What is your design philosophy for commercial interior design?
We don’t subscribe to one genre of design — instead, we work closely with clients to uncover the motivations and emotional connections they have to their environment, and then apply that understanding to identify and define their preferred design aesthetic style. Whether your preference is modern, transitional, or eclectic, we create spaces that reflect your unique style and meet the requirements of your lifestyle.
How involved will I be in the design process?
Your input and involvement is important while we come up with the initial design concepts. Then, while we fully develop the designs into an actionable plan, your involvement will be less. We offer a white-glove approach to project management, one that is intentionally hands-off to ensure you can collaborate on the most important parts of the design, while we handle the rest of the details.
